MARLEYFIELD HANDOVER COMPLETED

Marleyfield Handover Completed

Congratulations to our site team on the completion and handover of Marleyfield House. The project, which has embraced innovative new ways of keeping people safe, saw us working once again with the team from Willmott Dixon on behalf of Flintshire County Council. The £8.4 million redevelopment project has doubled the number of beds at Marleyfield House from 32 to 64 and increased the availability of communal outdoor spaces and improved overall accessibility to help support residents’ well-being.

Each room will have personal outdoor space either through a balcony on the first floor or a patio on the ground, while the extension will also see the creation of new communal areas, medical facilities, offices and store- rooms, extended car parking facilities and extensive sensitive landscaping.

During the height of the pandemic, the home entered into full-lockdown we worked closely with Willmott Dixon to adjust construction practices to ensure the site was operating in a Covid-safe way and on-site activity was separated from the home at all times.

This included a dedicated site access, the construction of additional parking bays for the home and coordinated deliveries.
